From your first consultation to caring for your garments — find answers to the most common questions about bespoke tailoring.
Simply reach out via WhatsApp or take our Style Quiz to begin. We'll arrange a consultation at your convenience — there's absolutely no pressure to commit. Many clients start with a single shirt or trousers before moving to suits.
The initial consultation typically takes about 60 minutes. We'll discuss your style goals, lifestyle needs, and preferences. You'll browse our fabric collection from the world's finest mills, and I'll take over 30 precise measurements along with posture and asymmetry assessments.
Absolutely. I offer flexible consultation locations across Dubai and the UAE. Whether it's your office, home, or hotel, I bring everything needed for a complete consultation — fabric books, measurement tools, and style references.
Yes, appointments ensure I can dedicate proper time and attention to each client. However, I offer flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends to accommodate busy professionals.
That's perfectly normal and actually quite common. Many clients come with a vague sense of wanting to "look better" or "dress more professionally." I provide guidance throughout the process, and we often refine the vision together during our conversations.
No minimum order required. A single shirt or pair of trousers is absolutely fine. Many clients prefer to start small to experience the quality and fit before committing to larger pieces like suits.
True bespoke means creating a unique pattern from scratch specifically for your body. Made-to-measure adjusts an existing pattern within preset limits. Bespoke accommodates any body shape, posture quirk, or preference — there are no constraints because there's no base pattern to limit us.
I take over 30 precise measurements, but numbers alone don't tell the whole story. I also assess posture, shoulder slope, stance, and any asymmetries. This comprehensive approach ensures a garment that moves with you naturally and looks perfect from every angle.
For suits and jackets, we typically do two fittings: a basted fitting (the garment in its early structural form) and a final fitting for minor refinements. Shirts usually require just one fitting. Additional fittings are always available if needed at no extra charge.
We build in allowances for minor fluctuations. If your weight changes during the commission, we can adapt during fittings. For significant changes, we'll discuss options — the bespoke process is inherently flexible.
This is where bespoke truly shines. Whether you have a significant shoulder slope, differing arm lengths, athletic build, or any other characteristic that makes off-the-rack difficult, bespoke is designed exactly for your unique body.
Yes. I have experience creating garments that accommodate various physical needs — from mobility considerations to specific dressing requirements. Every piece is designed around you, and we can discuss any specific needs during consultation.
I source from the world's most renowned mills: Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Scabal, Holland & Sherry, Drago, VBC, Dormeuil, and many others. Each mill has distinct characteristics — I'll help you choose based on your intended use, climate, and preferences.
Fabric selection is guided by several factors: Dubai's climate, the garment's intended use, durability requirements, and your personal preferences for weight and texture. I'll walk you through options, explain the trade-offs, and help you make an informed choice.
The "Super" number refers to the fineness of the wool fibers — higher numbers mean finer, softer fabric. Super 120s offers a beautiful balance of luxury and durability. Super 150s and above feel incredibly soft but are more delicate. For daily wear suits, I often recommend Super 110s-130s.
Beyond wool, we work with cotton (for shirts and casual pieces), linen (perfect for Dubai summers), cashmere (for luxury pieces), silk blends (for special occasions), and modern performance fabrics that offer comfort and wrinkle resistance for frequent travelers.
While technically possible, I don't recommend it. The quality of fabric is crucial to the final result, and I can't guarantee outcomes with materials I haven't sourced myself. My fabric selection offers extensive variety at competitive prices since I purchase directly from mills.
Many of our partner mills have strong sustainability credentials, using responsible sourcing and production methods. Beyond materials, bespoke tailoring is inherently sustainable — a well-made garment that fits perfectly lasts for years, even decades, reducing the cycle of disposable fashion.
Bespoke suits start from AED 3,500, with the price primarily driven by fabric choice. Full floating canvas construction, which I recommend for the best drape and longevity, starts from AED 10,000. Smart-casual pieces like tailored trousers and blazers start from AED 500.
Bespoke shirts start from AED 450. Prices vary based on fabric quality — everyday cotton shirting versus premium Swiss or Italian fabrics — and any special details like hand-stitched buttonholes or mother-of-pearl buttons.
Everything. The price covers initial consultation, pattern creation, the fabric you select, all fittings, construction, hand finishing, and final pressing. There are no hidden fees or surprise additions.
A bespoke suit represents 40-60 hours of skilled handwork by trained craftsmen. You're getting premium materials from top mills, a pattern created exclusively for your body, and a garment constructed to last decades. The per-wear cost of a bespoke suit often works out less than fast fashion.
Yes, we require a 50% deposit to begin work. This covers fabric ordering and initial construction. The balance is due upon final delivery when you're completely satisfied with the garment.
For most professionals, absolutely. Consider what you project in meetings, presentations, and client interactions. A perfectly fitting, high-quality suit commands attention and conveys success. It's an investment in how others perceive you and, importantly, how you feel about yourself.
From initial consultation to final delivery, a bespoke suit typically takes 2-3 weeks. This includes two fittings and all construction time. Shirts are usually ready within 7-10 days.
I maintain an in-house workshop rather than outsourcing overseas. This eliminates international shipping delays, allows for immediate adjustments, and means I can personally oversee every garment's construction. Quality doesn't suffer — it's actually enhanced by this direct involvement.
Often, yes. If you have an important event approaching, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate. Rush orders may incur an additional fee depending on the timeline and current workload.
We'll work around your schedule. Fittings can be arranged to suit your availability, and for clients who travel frequently, I can time the process to align with your presence in Dubai.
I'll keep you updated via WhatsApp at each stage — when fabric arrives, when construction begins, when fittings are due, and when the garment is complete. You'll never be left wondering about progress.
Once fittings are complete and you're satisfied with the garment, international shipping is possible. However, the fitting process does require you to be present in Dubai. For international clients, we can often complete the entire process within a business trip.
Always hang on a proper wooden hanger — shaped to support the shoulders. Let suits rest at least 24 hours between wears. Use a soft brush to remove dust after wearing. Avoid dry cleaning unless absolutely necessary — spot cleaning and steaming usually suffice.
As rarely as possible — ideally only 1-2 times per year at most. Dry cleaning chemicals are harsh on natural fibers. Regular brushing, airing, and occasional steaming will keep your suit fresh. Only dry clean for actual stains that won't spot clean.
Use breathable garment bags (not plastic) for long-term storage. Include cedar blocks or rings to deter moths. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure adequate space — crushing affects the fabric and structure.
Bring it back to me. Many issues — small tears, loose buttons, worn linings — are easily repairable. Burns, major tears, or significant wear might require more extensive work, but bespoke garments are designed to be maintained and repaired throughout their life.
Launder after each wear — collar and cuff soiling is the main concern. Use cold or warm water, never hot. Iron while slightly damp for best results. Hang or fold immediately to prevent creasing. Avoid bleach, which weakens cotton fibers.
Absolutely. Weight fluctuations happen. Minor alterations — taking in or letting out — are easily accommodated at minimal cost. This is another advantage of bespoke: the garment can evolve with you rather than being discarded when your body changes.
