From first conversation to final stitch — here's exactly what to expect when you commission a garment with me.
The Consultation
Whether in our boutique or your preferred location, it all begins with a conversation. Over a coffee, we'll discuss your style, your wardrobe gaps, and what you're looking to achieve. You'll browse fabrics from the world's finest mills — Loro Piana, Zegna, Drapers, Scabal and beyond. Then I take 30+ precise measurements and run through the styling details. This is where your garment begins to take shape.
The Fittings
A few days later, your garment is ready in its "basted" form — partially constructed so we can see the shape and fit on your body. This is where the magic happens. We adjust, we refine, we perfect. We typically have one more fitting, this time the garments will have more polish and fit even better than before. Nothing leaves my hands unless I am 100% satisfied.
Final Delivery
Your finished garment is ready. We do a final fitting to confirm perfection, then I show you how to wear it — what shirts, what ties, what shoes work best. I'll pack it all up for you, or you can leave wearing it.
